Burger King Launches Delivery Service

Test of new service underway in Maryland and Virginia.

The “Home of The Whopper” now delivers to your home (depending on where you live).

Burger King is testing a new delivery service at locations around the country including in Rockville (Travilah Square), Gaithersburg, Germantown, Burtonsville and Leisure World.

Delivery hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Minimum delivers orders are $8 to $10, depending on the location, with a $2 delivery fee, depending on the location, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday.

Orders can be made online or by phone but fountain drinks, milkshakes, coffee and breakfast foods are not available for delivery, The Post reported.

Seven locations in Montgomery County and three in Northern Virginia now deliver. The chain plans to add delivery service at six more Virginia locations on Jan. 23.

I have to admit I haven't eaten a fast food hamburger in years. They don't taste very good even hot. But delivered to you cold and congealed? Ewwww is right!
