The Damascus Library will be closed from Monday, Dec. 3 through Tuesday, Dec. 11 for installation of new carpeting, Montgomery County officials announced Monday.

As a result, Montgomery County Public Libraries has extended the due dates for materials checked between Nov. 12 and Nov. 19 so that the items won’t be due during the closing. 

The book drop will remain open for book returns while the building is closed.

Damascus customers are encouraged to use other MCPL branches.
