Mom's Great Escape: The 'Grape Escape'

This Kentlands wine bar provides a spot for moms to escape the kids.

Free time is a treasure to every busy mom.

Every once in a while an hour or two of “kid-free” time sneaks up on you. When that happens, a visit to Pinky & Pepe’s Grape Escape in the Kentlands Shopping Center is the perfect place to relax by yourself, with your husband or with girlfriends.

Whether it’s a Monday night or a Saturday afternoon, stop in and have a seat at a handcrafted pub table or cozy leather chair, enjoy background jazz and blues music and have your own private wine tasting.

Pinky & Pepe’s features an incredible wine serving system that allows you to sample up to eight different wines by the sip, half glass or full glass. Additionally, a wide variety of wines, at all price points, are available for purchase and they never charge a corking fee. They even have a huge selection of beers and lagers and a menu of light fare such as olives, nuts and meat and cheese trays.

If you happen to be there on a Friday night, you’ll be treated to a free wine-tasting event and live music. You can even indulge yourself with shopping in their retail section.
