Weekend PatchTag Project: #Hashtag Your Community

Post a photo from your Patch using the hashtag #MyPatch to show off your community.

We're starting something new here at Patch, borrowing an idea from social media networks.

We're calling it the Weekend PatchTag Project.

It's simple.

Using your Instagram account, post a photo of your community—show off your favorite picnic spot, a landmark of your community or even your own business—using the tag #MyPatch and it'll appear in our grid of images on every Patch site in Maryland.

It's your chance to show off to the rest of the state.

You can also post your photos right on Patch by clicking the "Pics & Clips" tab at the top of the page.

Now get to it!

Oh, and while you're at it, what's your Instagram handle? Post it in a comment below, and let us know what Patch you live in, and we'll follow you!

Why not write about your community on Patch? Share your expertise, post photos or publicize your nonprofit right here

The article mentions that as an alternative you can "You can also post your photos right on Patch by clicking the "Pics & Clips" tab at the top of the page." You can upload directly from your computer that way.

What's the point of this garbage filler? What happened to the editor? Where's the local content?
