Community Corner

3 Clicks to Make a Difference

Neighbor Ride, a wonderful nonprofit that is changing the lives of so many in our community, is the ONLY Maryland finalist in the Tom’s of Maine 50 States for Good Initiative, a national program, created to promote the goodness behind grassroots projects.  Neighbor Ride has a chance to win $10,000 to bolster its efforts to decrease isolation and improve the quality of life for local seniors through its volunteer-driven transportation program.  As a finalist, Neighbor Ride just needs to be one of the top 15 "vote-getters" in the grant contest to win.  It would make a tremendous difference if folks would vote once today (10/14) and again once tomorrow (10/15), at www.50StatesforGood.com or http://bit.ly/195yuCC (Select Maryland, then VOTE NOW)
