Child Advocates Needed - Make a Difference in a Child's Life

CASA of Montgomery County in Maryland is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to advocate for the timely placement of abused and neglected children in safe, permanent homes and for the highest quality of their care while they are under the court's jurisdiction.

This mission is accomplished through the recruitment, training and on-going support and supervision of volunteers from the community who are appointed by the Juvenile Court judges to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates for these children. CASA Volunteers serve as voices for one of our most vulnerable populations - abused and neglected children.

We are currently recruiting volunteers for our September training class. There are no special educational or professional requirements, but advocates must be at least 21 years old and live in the greater Montgomery County area. Do you have 10-15 hours per month available to make a difference in a child's life?

Please contact our office at (301) 340-7458.
