Kentlands Restaurant Raises Money for Wounded Soldiers

O'Donnell's Seafood raised over $1,000 for the Combat Soldiers Recovery Fund, according to the Gazette.

A Jan. 27 fundraiser hosted by raised over $1,000 for the Combat Soldiers Recovery Fund, according to a report by The Gazette.

More than 300 people dined at the Kentlands restaurant, benefiting wounded soldiers across America.

"The fund is a nonprofit organization founded by Garland Miller of Chevy Chase that was established to provide funds for wounded soldiers," according to the report.

Miller told The Gazette O'Donnell's agreed to donate 15 percent of sales from that night to the organization, and while the total is unclear, Miller said at least $1,000 was raised from organization buckets at the bar.
