PHOTOS: What I Did on My Summer Vacation

We have now officially entered the dog days of summer, otherwise known as the month of August.

And as we all try to make the most of the last true month of summer, we here at North Potomac-Darnestown Patch wanted to ask you to share your summer vacation photos. Whether you stayed closer to home or went around the world, we'd love to see what you've been up to this fine (and hot!) summer of 2011.

It's easy to share your photos: Just click on the link underneath the photo gallery up above that reads "Add Your Photos & Videos." From there, you can upload your photos and tell us who or what is in the pictures you're sharing.

As we get more photos, we'll feature different ones as the main image of gallery, and we'll bring the photo gallery back up later in the month on the homepage. We'll also give you some Facebook and Twitter love, so others can see how awesome your trips have been — and what a great shutterbug you are.
