Darnestown Day

Sant Nicholas Episcopal Church is hosting the second annual Darnestown Day.

After last year’s inaugural Darnestown Day success, Saint Nicholas Episcopal Church is ready to begin planning again.  Darnestown Day is being held on Saturday, May 14th, from noon to 4 p.m. on the St. Nick’s parish grounds at 14419 Darnestown Road.

This year we want Darnestown Day to be bigger and better.  The First Darnestown Day broughtmore than 1,000 people to the St. Nick’s grounds.  Food vendors and craft vendors found eager customers.  Children enjoyed pony cart rides and engaged in games of fun.  Area musicians and artists provided entertainment for all comers to enjoy.  A new area of participation is being added this year:   a Fifty Fifty Raffle.  The Raffle will extend the fun for everyone.

There are many different ways to participate in Darnestown Day.  St. Nick’s is looking for eager vendors who would like to sell their crafts and wares and for businesses to meet prospective customers.   Applications are now being accepted to reserve your space.  Only a limited number of spaces are available .  In addition, advertising in the Darnestown Day brochure is being offered.  This brochure will be given to every family attending and is a wonderful way to advertise your business to potential customers.

Mark your calendars to become a part of Darnestown Day.  For more information on advertising or renting a vendor space, please call Liz Kraft at 301-926-6155.
