Darnestown Day: A Celebration of Community

Mark your calendars to become a part of Darnestown Day!

Building on last year’s inaugural Darnestown Day success, Saint Nicholas Episcopal Church is planning for the Second Annual Darnestown Day, to be held on Saturday, May 14, from noon to 4 p.m. on the St. Nick’s parish grounds at 15575 Germantown Road.

We want this year's Darnestown Day to be bigger and better. The First Darnestown Day brought more than 1,000 people to the St. Nick’s grounds. Food vendors and craft vendors found eager customers. Children enjoyed pony cart rides and engaged in games of fun. Area musicians and artists provided entertainment for all comers to enjoy. A new area of participation is being added this year: a Fifty Fifty Raffle. The Raffle will extend the fun for everyone.

There are many different ways to participate in Darnestown Day. St. Nick’s is looking for eager vendors who would like to sell their crafts and wares and for businesses to meet prospective customers. Applications are now being accepted to reserve your space. Only a limited number of spaces are available. In addition, advertising in the Darnestown Day brochure is being offered. This brochure will be given to every family attending and is a wonderful way to advertise your business to potential customers.
