Bites Nearby: Quincy's Bar and Grille

This Gaithersburg pub caters to all age groups and serves the community.

Serving the community is important to Marty and Alexis Magill, proprietors of Quincy’s Bar and Grille in Gaithersburg. It starts with the menu at this full service restaurant that offers a wide selection of appetizers, burgers, subs, sandwiches, pizza and dinner entrees.

Soups “du jour” are made from scratch. Among the favorites are Wednesalday’s Baked Potato Soup and Friday’s Cream of Crab. Pizzas are popular at Quincy’s, where the dough is made fresh on the premises. And what is a pub without its’ signature chicken wings, with choice of five homemade sauces.

And in an effort to show no community partiality, Quincy’s “Hen House” of chicken sandwiches are named for neighboring high schools from the QO Buffalo style, to the Northwest Cajun-seasoned, to the Seneca Valley with BBQ sauce.

Quincy’s entertains us, as one of the few local establishments to feature live music every Friday and Saturday night, from 9 p.m.  “All Day Happy Hour” with $2 draft beers from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. will entertain the thirsty palate.

Quincy’s serves the community by sponsoring youth sports teams and fundraising for local charities. Join Quincy’s and the Harp and Shamrock Society on Sunday, Feb. 27 from noon-7 p.m. for the Celtic Fundraiser. Irish music and performers along with a raffle and silent auction will help raise funds to benefit the Annual Gaithersburg St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
