Fleet Feet Halloween Zombie Fun Run/Walk Returns to Kentlands Nov. 1

The Kentlands event is a Halloween staple in the city of Gaithersburg.

GAITHERSBURG—Are you scared of a zombie apocalypse? If so, avoid the Kentlands on Thursday, Nov. 1.

The Fleet Feet Sports annual Halloween Zombie Fun Run/Walk is back, and it promises to frighten unsuspecting Kentlands shoppers, organizers said in a news release.

Participants in the 3-mile run/walk will be chased by zombies through the Kentlands and Lakelands neighborhoods. Runners and walkers are welcome hang out after the race at Pinky & Pepe's Grape Escape for food, drinks and awards for the best costumes.

"This is a really fun event and we’re excited to do it again," Fleet Feet owner Chris Gault said in the press release. "You can see from our store window, our team tends to have a lot of fun with the Halloween season and we always look forward to the zombie fun run."
