Women Entrepreneurs Get Surprise Lecture at Lakewood Country Club
College Professor Venus Opal Reese was the guest speaker on May 17.
Nearly 200 women came out Friday to Lakewood Country Club to hear from a college professor and mentor about self-empowerment, the Potomac Almanac reported.
But they were surprised to be welcomed instead by an incoherent drunk. Or so they thought anyway.
The so-called drunk ended up being none other than their guest speaker Venus Opal Reese -- who used her skit to show how women can change their lives and resolve issues, the Almanac said.

“It was one of the most dynamic and artistically creative talks I've ever witnessed,” Cari Shane, an attendee told the Almanac.
