PHOTOS: 100-Plus People Camp Out At Kentlands Chick-fil-A

One hundred grand prize winners and many guests camp out at the new Chick-fil-A in the Kentlands.

More than 200 people arrived at the new Chick-fil-A in the Kentlands before 6 a.m. Wednesday in hopes of being selected as one of 100 grand prize winners of a yearlong supply of the restaurant's chicken sandwich combo meal, Chick-fil-A Spokeswoman Anne Lerner told Patch in an email.

The 100 winners and their guests must camp out at Chick-fil-A for 24 hours to claim the prize, culminating with the restaurant's grand opening at 6 a.m. Thursday.

Guests are not eligible for the yearlong prize, but they are eligible to participate in all other activities Chick-fil-A provides for campers, Chick-fil-A spokeswoman Christine Wier said.
