Poll: Will You Camp Out At The New Kentlands Chick-fil-A?

Chick-fil-A is coming to the Kentlands and the first 100 customers get a free meal and a win free Chick-fil-A for a year.

Does the thought of free chicken sandwiches and waffle fries for a year excite you or turn you sour? If it's the former, you might need to buy some new camping gear.

Chick-fil-A is set to open at 104 Main Street in the Kentlands in April, according to The Town Courier, and the first 100 customers will all get a free chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and soda combo meal. They'll also win a grand prize: free Chick-fil-A for a year.

The "First 100" promotion begins Wednesday, April 11 at 6 a.m. with meal cards distributed shortly after 6 a.m. the next morning. If there are more than 100 people prepared to participate, all 100 spots will be distributed via a raffle system, the official rules state, and all participants must be at least 18-years-old.

Chick-fil-A spokeswoman Anne Lerner told The Town Courier that one free meal per week for 100 people over 52 weeks costs approximately $26,000. She also said the restaurant would be operated by Brian Summers of North Carolina.

"He is excited to be in the area and quickly getting to know his neighbors," according to the report.
