Report: Gold's Gym Buys Fitness First Chain
Most locations will be rebranded as Gold's Gym.

A Frederick, MD-based chain of fitness centers with locations in DC, Maryland and Virginia has beenpurchased by Gold's Gym,The Washington Post reported.
Seventeen of Fitness First's 18 locations will convert to the national brand, including the Gaithersburg (18810 Woodfield Road) and North Potomac (12171 Darnestown Road) locations, a spokesperson for the company told The Post.
The Bethesda location, at 7900 Wisconsin Ave., will continue to operate as a Fitness First.
