5 Things You Need to Know Today: July 5

Good Morning. Welcome to our new daily feature bringing you five important things that will help you plan your day in North Potomac and Darnestown. 

1. Nice summer weather is expected today with partly cloudy skies and a high of 89 degrees. Air quality is moderate, and pollen levels low.

3. On Tuesdays and Thursdays in the month of July, Michael's Craft Store in the Kentlands will feature a craft class, "Craft Around the World." Class is from 11a.m. to 2p.m. Today's country is Italy; Thursday's class is Australia. If you go, take some photos of your crafts and send them to us. We always like to feature local artists of all ages and abilities!

4. During your lunch hour, practice your golf swing by taking advantage of South Germantown Driving Range's Lunch Specials.  Available Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., get a half-priced bucket of balls and swing away.
