1. North Potomac will see near record high temperatures with a high of 87 degrees today (the record is 90 degrees) and there is no chance for precipitation. If you have a chance to spend some time outside today, enjoy the great weather.

2. recently earned its certification from Project Lead The Way as a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) school.

According to the QO website, "Project Lead The Way is a nonprofit organization based in Clifton Park, NY that has created a hands-on, project-based engineering curriculum for high schools and middle schools and biomedical sciences courses for high schools. The courses are designed to "engage students on multiple levels, expose them to areas of study that they typically do not pursue, and provide them with a foundation and proven path to college and career success."
