4. In case you missed it: A 20-year-old Darnestown native was killed in a kayaking accident on Sunday, Jan. 8 in West Virginia.

Police have arrested one man and have a warrant for another in the stabbing of a 17-year-old last week near Quince Orchard Road and Route 28.
