Wednesdays only, Shady Grove Farmers' & Artisans' Market is taking place at the Johns Hopkins Montgomery County campus from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. Vendors will be selling fresh local fruits, vegetables, and plants; meats, eggs, and poultry; prepared food and drinks; mini-desserts and cupcakes; and original jewelry and art.

5. Who would think to ice skate on a day like this? On Wednesdays from 10:15-11:15 a.m. at Cabin John Skate Park, you and your toddler can skate for just $3.50 (includes admission and skate rental for you both). Additional tots (ages 4 and under) can skate with you for $3.50 each.
