Some things you might like to know as you plan your day in Darnestown and North Potomac.
"Harry Potter" isn't the only movie opening in theaters today. Here's to celebrating the return of a childhood classic, and a few more things to look forward to today.
1. The weather will be a near repeat of yesterday's perfection. We should have sunny skies with a high temperature of 85 degrees. And there's only a 10 percent chance of precipitation. Overnight, it will be mostly clear with a low of 65 degrees.
2. For kids of all ages, "Winnie the Pooh" arrives in theaters today! The Disney film, rated G, runs for one hour and three minutes. Showtimes at the Kentlands are as follows: 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:40 p.m., 4:15 p.m., 5:45 p.m. and 7:20 p.m.

5. Don't miss opening day of the blockbuster film of the summer, "Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows, Part 2." The movie is PG13 and runs for two hours and 10 minutes. Kentlands movie times are as follows:

3D: 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:15 p.m., 7:10 p.m., 9:50 p.m.
