5 Useful Things To Know Today: March 7

Five things to help you through your Wednesday and the rest of the week.

1. Weather report: After the winter season made a brief reappearance Monday with snow flurries throughout the county, we're back to a spring-like feeling in early March. High temperatures will be in the low-60s and there is a zero percent chance of precipitation.

2. Patch office hours: will hold his monthly office hours this Friday, March 9, at Panera Bread in Fallsgrove. Regional advertising manager Rahiem Swann will also attend. Stop by to say hi, talk Patch, and pitch stories!

3. In case you missed it: Travilah Elementary School's Reethi Padmanabhan finished third at Saturday's Montgomery County regional spelling bee.

The fifth grade student earned Travilah's first-ever spot in the regional bee, winning the school's third-to-fifth grade competition by spelling the word "malice".
