Five things to help you through your Tuesday.

1. The first day of November starts ugly with early a.m. rain, but it's set to turn into a mostly sunny, comfortable 58 degree day.

2. Tomorrow is Huddle Up for Prostate Health at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital starting at 6:30. The event will feature a panel of medical experts, free prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screenings and former Washington Redskin Charles Mann, who will speak about the importance of prostate health and sign autographs. The first 50 attendees will receive a free photo of Charles Mann that can be autographed. Autographed memorabilia will also be raffled off.

3. Yesterday we welcomed our new student blogger, Wootton High School junior Mia Saidel. Be sure to check out her intro and say hi!
