2. JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT

Where/When: Olney Theater, 2001 Olney-Sandy Spring Rd. Olney, Md. 20832; Feb. 25 8 p.m., Feb. 26 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Feb. 27 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: Catch the Andrew Lloyd Webber classic musical that follows the story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. A great option for the whole family.

3. THE ART GALLERY OF POTOMAC VISUAL ART EXHIBITION

Where/When: 10107 River Rd., Potomac, MD 20854; Feb. 24 - 25, 12 to 4 p.m.; An opening reception afternoon tea is Feb. 25, 4 to 7 p.m.

Why Go: This is the first weekend of the exhibit, Dot Procter “Color, Naturally”. Explore oil, acrylic and watercolor by local artists.

4. VIDEO GAMES LIVE

Where/When: , 10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD 20852; Saturday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Why Go: A rare chance for a Saturday night with video games to sound sophisticated. Members of the National Philharmonic and National Philharmonic Chorale perform video game classic tunes synchronized to video visuals and special effects.

Pricing: $35-$69

5. 8TH ANNUAL YOUNG ARTIST AWARDS

Where/When: The Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Rd; Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.

Why Go: See the winners of the competition which honors talented musicians ages 12 to 18. 

Pricing: $10 for residents and $12 for nonresidents
