Meet Your Neighbor: K.N. Vinod

North Potomac resident and co-owner of area restaurants, Indique Heights, Indique and Bombay Bistro.

When K.N. Vinod is not at one of his three Indian restaurants, chatting with one of his regular customers (the roster includes the likes of Andrea Mitchell and Supreme Court Judge Sonia Sotomayor) or teaching a class on Indian food at the Smithsonian, he can be found with his family at his home in North Potomac.

Chef and Co-Owner of in Rockville, Indique in Washington, D.C., and in Chevy Chase, Vinod came from India in 1985. He has lived in North Potomac for nearly 15 years with his son, now a senior at the University of Maryland, and daughter, a senior at Quince Orchard High School.

In addition to cooking, his new passions are photography and blogging. On his blog, Vinod reviews local restaurants, features recipe ideas and pictures from his latest travels.
