2. : A quiet spot off Darnestown road, this park has six tables under a pavilion. Learn about Darnestown's role in the Civil War at the information plaque near the tables.

3. : Catch up with neighbors at this park in the middle of the Dufief neighborhood. Just be careful not to leave any food behind for the wild life, a last week.

4. Cemetary: Wander through this historic cemetary, where several grave stones date back to the 19th century. Discover a unique and tranquil picnic spot on one of the benches along the walkway.
