Local Darnestown band Soul Easy played through the afternoon, as kids jumped on the moonbounce and took turns on miniature pony rides, courtesy of . Pastor Ken Howard kicked off the afternoon by taking the first turn in the dunk tank.
Given the church's central location at the intersection of Germantown and Darnestown Roads, Howard said community events such as this one have been key in the church's mission.
