Police Blotter: August 10 to 24

Graffiti vandalism in North Potomac seems to be an isolated event

One burglary and several acts of vandalism marked mid-August in and around Darnestown and North Potomac. The police report showed no violent crime in our area.

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 14600 block of Boat House Way in North Potomac, on Wednesday 8/10 at 4:49 p.m. No further information available.
  • Racially motivated graffiti was discovered on a Pepco meter box at 15300 Quince Orchard Road on Friday 8/12 at 11:03 p.m.
  • At least thirteen victims of vandalism/graffiti occurred on the night of Saturday 8/13 on Pebble Hill Lane, Coles Chance Road, Seneca Castle Court, and Dufief Drive in North Potomac. The graffiti consisted of spray paint on vehicle doors, windows, and the sides of houses.
