Power Outages Reported in Rockville and North Potomac
Most reported outages are clustered along Interstate 270 near West Gude Drive
According to Pepco's StormCenter website, 1050 Pepco customers are currently without power in Rockville and North Potomac area, which includes areas of the 20878 and 20850 zip codes.
Pepco Media Relations representative, Bob Hainey told Patch that a repair crew is onsite, trying to isolate the problem, which appears to be "on the line" between transfer stations. They estimate that after some troubleshooting the problem, they hope to restore power to more than half of the customers who are currently without power.
Full power is estimated for restoration before 11pm tonight.
