The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Montgomery County until 8 p.m.
There is a significant damaging wind and hail threat beginning to develop for the region, NWS said.
Those with outdoor plans should monitor the skies and be prepared for threatening weather. If you are outdoors and storm approaches, seek safe shelter indoors, NWS said.
