Week In Review: Nov. 7-11

Late week controversy between Johns Hopkins University and the Belward Farm highlights the news for this week.

Another week in the books in the North Potomac-Darnestown area and the biggest news of the week arguably came Friday, when it was learned that a lawsuit has been filed in Montgomery County Circuit Court with the intent of stopping Johns Hopkins University from proceeding with plans to build a 4.7 million-square-foot faciilty on the Belward Farm property.

MCPS superintendent Dr. Joshua Starr visited and fielded questions from students on Wednesday at his second Student Town Hall meeting.

In sports, QO defeated Bethesda Chevy-Chase, 52-7, in the first round of the Maryland 4A division football playoffs. In addition, QO's middle school feeder football team was approaching a playoff matchup of its own.
