Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup 2014 of Maryland's waterways

Volunteers needed for Ocean Conservancy's Intern'l Coastal Cleanup in September! Help clean up Maryland's waterways!

Help clean up Maryland’s waterways. Join the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup on Sept. 20, 2014 (some sites have cleanups on different dates) as volunteers pick up trash and other harmful debris from our waters before it reaches the Chesapeake Bay and ocean. Last year almost 700,000 volunteers worldwide picked up over 12 million pounds of trash from the world’s rivers, bays and oceans. Come help do your part to help clean up Maryland’s waters. Children welcome!!

Locate a site near you at www.signuptocleanup.org or contact the state coordinator, Geri Schlenoff at icc.baltimore@gmail.com to register or propose a site near you. Cleanups can be conducted at any site on any date in September or October. More information is available at www.oceanconservancy.org, click on Trash Free Seas.
