PLANNING BOARD MEETING - Staff Draft Plan for Ovid Hazen Wells Rec Park Master Plan Update

M-NCPPC Montgomery Parks is seeking approval from the
Montgomery County Planning Board to publish a Staff Draft of the Ovid Hazen
Wells Recreational Park Master Plan Update in advance of a Public Hearing to be
scheduled in fall 2014.

Park Staff will brief the Planning Board on the proposed
phasing and concepts of the Master Plan Update which will include a two phases.

· Phase One
– will include an overall vision of the park and including the Preliminary
Program of Requirements (PPOR) and location of the carousel.

· Phase Two
– will include the overall vision for the development of the rest of the park.

park planners are still gathering public input for this park master plan and
has created an online
