The NIH Community Orchestra and Chorus Present: Music for a Spring Afternoon


The
National Institutes of Health (NIH) Community Orchestra and Chorus
present “Music for a Spring Afternoon.” The one-time only
performance will take place on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 4:00 pm in
Haas Hall, Figge Theater, Georgetown Preparatory School, 10900
Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, Maryland. Both the concert and
parking are free, though donations will be accepted to benefit the
charities of the NIH.




The
concert will feature popular orchestral and choral music, including
selections from Bizet’s Carmen
Suites No. 1 and 2,
Dvorak’s
Slavonic Dances op. 46, no. 4,
Sibelius’ Finlandia,
and Thompson’s Frostiana.
