Rock for Sderot

On Sunday, April 17, Young Judaea regional and local clubs across the nation will be hosting a benefit concert in hopes of helping the citizens of Sderot in these hard times.

Sderot is a small town in Israel on the border of the Gaza Strip. For many years this small town was constantly under attack of Ketusha Rockets being fired by Hamas, out of the Gaza Strip. Nearly every single resident of the town has had some life-altering encounter with the rockets. Sderot has been devastated and needs help rebuilding.

A $5.00 admission fee will be administrated.

All of the proceeds will go to the Sderot Media Center, a non-profit organization that works to help residents of the town who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as educate people about the realities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Maryland Young Judaea is committed to help Sderot's residents and welcome any person (Judaean or non-Judaean, Jewish or non-Jewish) in attending the Rock for Sderot benefit concert. We will have a group of local bands entertaining the crowd as well as a speaker for those who wish to hear more information.

Please help Sderot's residents remain strong and join us on Sunday, April 17 at Fort Reno.
