Poolesville Woman's Run on 'Biggest Loser' Ends

A 26-year-old Poolesville woman was voted off the NBC reality show, according to the Gazette. Her mother remains a contestant.

Only three weeks into the show's 13 week race to lose the most weight, 26-year-old Poolesville native Lauren Lee was voted off NBC's 'The Biggest Loser,' according to the Gazette.

Lee was a member of one of the show's three parent-child teams, according to DietsInReview.com. Her mother, 57-year-old Gail Lee, was still a contestant as of the show's Jan. 17 broadcast, the Gazette reports.

“It was very hard,” Lauren Lee told the Gazette in a phone interview. “I wasn’t able to say bye to [my mother] or anything. I had my teammates say bye and give her a hug. I cried a lot.”

Lauren's motivation for participating in 'The Biggest Loser' was to help her Mom get in shape, the DietsInReview.com report said, adding that at 246 pounds, Lauren saw the opportunity to improve her own health as well.

Despite being eliminated from winning the show's $250,000 grand prize, Lauren is working out at home with hopes of claiming a $100,000 prize for losing the most weight amongst voted off contestants.
