Do you take INSULIN for your Diabetes

If you have signed up for new insurance through the Affordable Care Act, and have picked a Care First Plan BE AWARE.  Care First plans list Insulin as a Tier 2 or Brand name drug, there is no Generic insulin.  Your prescription will only pay 30% of the retail price of your insulin. A 90 day supply of Novolog retails for $909 your cost $272.70, if you also take Levemir, retail cost is $1200 your cost $360.00.  As a Insulin dependent diabetic, my 90 day  supply of insulin will now cost $632.70.  This is an outrage, when the only drug that keeps you alive, as a type 1 diabetic is too expensive, and there is no help or concern when it comes to the AFFORDABLE CARE ACT.
