The Universities at Shady Grove's Fall 2013 Open House on Oct. 19 Showcases USG's Nine Partner Universities, 80 Degree Programs

(Rockville, Md.)--Hundreds of prospective students and families are expected to attend the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) Spring 2013 Open House on Saturday, October 19, from 9 a.m.-noon. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about 80 undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs offered at USG. They will be able to meet with representatives from USG’s nine partner universities to learn about admission requirements, transfer of previous credits, career tracks, financial aid, and more.

 

Participants will also have the opportunity to meet USG Student Ambassadors, who will speak to the personalized student experience at USG. The open house will also feature tours of the state-of-the-art campus, including the award-winning, “green” Camille Kendall Academic Center.  Select programs will offer fee waivers to those who apply for admission during the event.

Prospective students will also have the opportunity to participate in informational workshops, in which they will be able to interact with representatives from their preferred programs of study and learn how their chosen degrees will relate to career opportunities.
