Darnestown Firefighter Honored at 37th Annual Public Safety Awards Ceremony
The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce hold the 37th Annual Public Safety Awards Ceremony Luncheon.
The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce honored heroic deeds of local emergency responders, fire and police personnel at their annual Public Safety Awards Ceremony Luncheon on Friday.
Over 1,000 business leaders, County and public safety officials gathered at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center to recognize those involved in several emergency incidents around the area, including the September 1st suicide bomber hostage situation at Discovery Communications in Silver Spring.
Darnestown resident and Laytonville volunteer fighter fighter, Tony Brazell received a valor award for his emergency response on a plane leaving Washington, D.C. heading to Florida.
