Man Charged in Gaithersburg Shooting

Police: Man shot is in critical, but stable condition

A man who was shot Tuesday in Gaithersburg is in critical but stable condition, Gaithersburg Police officer Dan Lane told Gaithersburg Patch.

At around 5 p.m., Gaithersburg and Montgomery County police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1000 block of West Side Drive, where they found a man on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds, Gaithersburg Patch has reported.

Justin Tirell Anderson, 25, has been charged with attempted second-degree murder and a felony gun violation, according to court records accessed online.

Anderson is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 30, the court records show.
