Man Injured at Poolesville Golf Course

Reports indicate elderly male suffered injuries in golf cart incident.

At 10:32 a.m., Montgomery County Fire and Rescue received a call that an elderly male suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries at Poolesville Golf Course on West Willard Road.

Initial reports indicated that the injuries were caused by a possible collision with a golf cart but those details were not yet confirmed, according to officials.

According to Capt. Oscar Garcia of Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, the injured male was in his 80s and a medevac was summoned to transport him to a local unnamed hospital. More details were not available at this time.
