North Potomac Crime Summary: Burglary, Assault Arrests Made

Information about the following incidents was supplied by Montgomery County police. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Two teen boys from North Potomac were arrested in connection with a residential burglary reported in the 11300 block of Amberlea Farm Drive, North Potomac on Thursday, May 9 at 4:57 p.m. No forced entry; nothing taken. A 12-year-old and a 13-year-old were apprehended.

A 49-year-old man from Poolesville was arrested following reports of an aggravated assault in the 18700 block of Jerusalem Church Road, Poolesville, at around 5 p.m. Thursday, May 9. Police said the suspect knew the alleged victim. 

A residential burglary was reported in the 19500 block of Wootton Avenue, Poolesville between Monday, May 6 and Sunday, May 12.  No forced entry; property taken.
