Overturned Auto Stops Traffic at Travilah Road and Briarbush Lane

Two transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Two people were transported to the hospital Thursday morning after their car overturned at an intersection in North Potomac.

At 8:13 a.m. on Thursday, a car carrying four passengers rolled over and ended up on its side at the intersection of Travilah Road and Briarbush Lane, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesman Capt. Oscar Garcia said.

Two of the adult passengers were transported to the hospital with minor injuries, Garcia said.

At 9 a.m., crews were still working to clear the intersection. Traffic can be expected along that part of Travilah Road until the accident is cleared.
