Residential and Vehicle Burglaries Reported In North Potomac and Darnestown

Montgomery County police released information about the thefts that occurred in April and May.

Three houses in North Potomac and Darnestown were burgled between April 28 and May 3 and items were stolen from three vehicles in Darnestown on April 29.

Montgomery County Police released information about these events in the recent crime summary on Thursday.

Four burglaries occurred at houses in North Potomac and Darnestown between April 28 and May 3.

  • Two houses on the 14800 and 14900 blocks of Kelley Farm Drive in Darnestown were robbed overnight between Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29. Entry was forced and property was taken.
  • A house in the 15500 block of Ambiance Drive in North Potomac was robbed between 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 3. It is unknown how entry was gained, but property was taken.
  • A fourth burglary occurred in the 15200 block of Springfield Road in Darnestown on Tuesday, May 3. Police did not know when the theft occurred or what was taken.

On the evening of Friday, April 29, items were taken from three vehicles in the Darnestown area.

  • Between 5 and 6 a.m., entry was forced and items were taken from a car in the 14900 block of Kelley Farm Drive.
  • Between 12 and 6 a.m., a GPS was stolen from a car in the 14800 block of Poplar Hill Road.
  • A third car was robbed in the 14900 block of Kelley Farm Drive at 5:53 p.m
