Update: Arrest Made In Stabbing Near Rt. 28 and Quince Orchard Road

An 18-year-old is in custody, and police have a warrant for another suspect.

Update: Police have arrested one man and have a warrant for another in the stabbing of a 17-year-old last week, authorities said.

Shane R-Kill Dove, 18, of an unconfirmed address, has been arrested and charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, first-degree assault, and conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, according to police.

Online court records show an address for Dove in the 700 block of Westside Drive in Gaithersburg.

He is being held on $250,000 bond.

Officer Rebecca Innocenti, a spokeswoman for Montgomery County Police, said a warrant has been issued for a second suspect in the stabbing, which occurred Jan. 4 near the intersection of Route 28 and Quince Orchard Drive.

Police are still investigating a motive, Innocenti said.

Update (7:51 p.m.): A 17-year-old male suffered a minor puncture wound in a stabbing on the 100 block of Orchard Drive near Route 28 and Quince Orchard Road, officer Rebecca Innocenti said.

The teenager also sustained some superficial cuts, but was not transported to a hospital after being checked out by Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, Innocenti said.

The suspects, two 18-year-old males, got into an argument with the victim and wielded a knife -- approximately 12 inches in length -- before beginning to assault him, Innocenti said.

Montgomery County Police received a call at approximately 5:32 p.m. to report the incident.

Original Post (6:27 p.m.): There has been a stabbing in the 100 block of Orchard Drive near Route 28 and Quince Orchard Road, Montgomery County Police spokeswoman Officer Rebecca Innocenti said.

No additional details are available at this time, Innocenti said.
