Three Burglaries, One Assault in North Potomac Area

Police released details of the four incidents in the most recent crime summary.

Three homes in the North Potomac region were burgled and another person was the victim of aggravated assault.

The Montgomery County Police Department released the following information their recent crime summary on Wednesday:

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 12100 block of Bentridge Place, Potomac on Thursday, Sept. 29, between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and was arrested. Arrested: Female, 17, of Potomac.

• A residential garage burglary/theft from a vehicle occurred in the 14100 block of Forest Ridge Drive, North Potomac between 11:45 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27. The garage door had been left open and property was taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 15310 block of American Way, North Potomac between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29. Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 10900 block of Piney Meetinghouse Road, Potomac between Wednesday, Sept. 27, and Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 9:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
