UPDATE: Five Robberies Reported in Quince Haven Neighborhood Tuesday

Items were taken from five cars. Four were unlocked.

Update, Feb. 24: Police have revealed more information about the robberies that occurred in the Quince Haven neighborhood between Monday, Feb. 7 and Tuesday, Feb. 8.

Property was taken from five vehicles between 9 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, police said. Four cars were unlocked and one vehicle entry is still unknown.

A wallet and GPS were stolen from two unlocked vehicles in the 12400 block of Rosseau Terrace. A GPS and iPod were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 12300 block of Chagall Drive. Sunglesses were taken from a vehicle in the unit block of Seurat Court, through unknown means of entry. GPS and coins were taken from an unlocked car in the unit block of Chagall Court.

Original post, Feb. 8: Two robberies were reported in the Quince Haven neighborhood early on Tuesday morning, police said.

At 4:52 a.m. a robbery was reported on Pisaro Drive. The caller said someone had broking into their car and fled on foot, said Angela Cruz, a Montgomery County Police spokesperson.

A K-9 police unit responded to the call but they did not find a suspect, she said.

A second robbery was reported to police at 9:31 a.m. The caller told police the burglary had occurred on Chagall Drive early Tuesday morning, Cruz said.
