6th District Congressional Candidates Forum-Debate

The Maryland Sixth Congressional District seat has been held by Roscoe Bartlett,
Republican, for the past 20 years. This year due to re-districting, the seat is
becoming very contentious. In addition to several from his own party, Rep.
Bartlett’s seat is being challenged in the Democratic primary, by MD State
Senate Majority Leader Rob Garagiola and Potomac businessman John Delaney, and
some others. There will be a total of 10 candidates including Rep. Bartlett,
Sen. Garagiola, and Mr. Delaney meeting residents at the Darnestown
Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, RT28 & Turkey foot Rd, Darnestown.
The candidates will answer a series of questions, and then there will be a
series of exchange with residents. We would like to have you announce and/or
cover this event. No doubt this race will be attracting national attention and
we invite residents from all of Western Montgomery County and beyond to attend this event, sponsored by the Darnestown Civic Association.
