Investigators Seeking Community Tips On Cause Of Feb. Brush Fire

Montgomery County Fire and Explosive Investigators set up a tip line.

The cause of the that overtook more than 400 acres of Darnestown and Germantown in February remains . But Montgomery County wants your help on the investigaiton.

Montgomery County Fire and Explosive Investigators have asked that anyone with information on the fire call the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Tip Line at 240-777-2263.

The Tip Line is for non-emergency calls. You can leave your information anonymously or ask to speak with an investigator.

At a on Thursday, Montgomery County Fire Chief Richard Bowers said he does not know how long the investigation could take.

Pepco Media Relations Manager Bob Hainey said Pepco is also working with authorities on the investigation.
