Boy's and Girl's Soccer Players From QO, Wootton Honored

Each school was represented in the 2011 All-Gazette soccer teams.

Athletes from Quince Orchard and Wootton High School's boy's and girl's soccer teams were honored as 2011 All-Gazette teams were revealed today for each sport.

QO senior goalie Gabby Paolini was the only athlete from the two schools named to the Gazette's first team.

She is "incredibly quick on [her] feet, agile and fearless, and plays well beyond small [her] stature," according to the report. She posted eight shutout for the Cougars in 2011.

Other All-Gazette selections for girl's soccer include QO's Morgan Dorset (senior defender) and Jessica Konecke (forward). Dorset was picked for the second team, Konecke as an honorable mention.

Wootton boys Brandon Parr (senior defender) and Zach Robinson (senior defender) were named second team All-Gazette for boy's soccer.

Wootton's Matt Hoy and QO's Gianluca Capraro were selected as honorable mention.
